Not Another Blog…

Yes I hear you say, ANOTHER blog! Instagrammer gets a few followers and writes blog, I’m such a cliche! There are so many of them and who has time to read many blogs? I know I don’t. It so easy to find a quick bit of inspo on a Pinterest board, a DIY tutorial on You Tube or have a quick scroll on Instagram in your tea break.

So I’ve been posting and sharing my home on Instagram for four years now and what started as a bit of fun and a creative outlet as a stay at home mum has accidentally turned into a new career along side my work as an illustrator. Content creation and styling jobs have increasingly taken up my time and as this has developed I’ve often found posting on Instagram a bit limiting, I want to write more and share more photos. I take a lot of photos!

So my plan is to create more in-depth posts about my interior, garden and craft projects. I’m always getting asked about how we created our garden, my dollhouse, blackboard art and all the crafty and DIY projects I do, so this is where they are going to be! I’ve procrastinated over this for 2 years as I always felt I was more of a visual person rather than a writer but I think after years of writing captions on my Instagram posts I feel a bit more confident about it, so here we go!

I hope you’ll enjoy my blog and find my posts informative, interesting and fun. I’ll also be sharing more lifestyle posts, including travel posts (once we can do that again!) and my illustration work (there’s a section on here if you fancy a look) In the near future there will also possibly be a shop section where you can buy my prints and merchandise.
